ProFractional™
ProFractional™ is a quick laser treatment used to improve the overall appearance of your skin. You may have heard of Fraxel®, which was the first fractional laser technology. ProFractional™, the laser we use at Skin Perfect Aesthetics, is a newer technology that is more precise with faster healing time and fewer treatments.
ProFractional™ uses a laser microbeam to create thousands of tiny microscopic channels in the skin, which are surrounded by areas of healthy, untreated skin. These zones of untreated skin energize the body’s natural healing process and the treated areas stimulate the production of new collagen, plumping the skin and smoothing wrinkles, lines, scars and other imperfections.
ProFractional™ can improve wrinkles and fine lines, post-traumatic scars, acne scars, age spots and sun spots, brown spots, freckles, and aging and sun damaged skin. Most skin areas can be treated, with the most popular being the face, neck, chest and hands. The treatment takes about 15-30 minutes depending on the condition and area treated, and a series of treatments is usually recommended for optimal results. Downtime is minimal, and complete healing takes only about 1 to 3 days. ProFractional™ can also be combined with other treatments like MicroLaserPeel™ to enhance your results.
